Zhiying Deng is an independent documentary filmmaker who works between New York and China. Her projects mainly cover ‘UNSEEN’ marginalized groups, such as deaf lesbian and female factory workers. She has filmed in more than 20 countries, and her work was released on various platforms, such as NHK and Tencent Video, with different awards. Her latest producing work, ‘Girl Of Wind,’ was nominated for the Best Short Documentary award at the 60th Golden Horse Film Festival.
